Just Like You!

A poem that encompasses the spirit of I&D and calls for a better future!

You and I are not the same; I’m a nobody, you have a name.
This thought is old, let’s bring the new; Coz the truth is I’m “Just Like You!”

I may walk, talk or look different; I may dress, react or think different
But my heart beats just like you; I dream to rise just like you

If only you step in my shoes someday; It won’t matter if I’m transgender or gay
Living my life, should be my choice; I have some ideas, just listen to my voice.

I may not hear, speak or see; But I can do wonders, just let me be.
If only I get chance to prove; Together we’ll strive, the world will move.

I’m neither a man, nor a woman; Don’t put me in buckets, I’m only Human.
We’re all the same, of the same caste; Let’s come together, change the past.

Sometimes I’m young, sometimes I’m old; Asian or African, but always bold.
The stage is set, I know we’ll win; Sky is the limit, if we’re All IN.

Let’s echo the message, all around; So people open up, Inclusion is found
Let’s work to make, the world a little better; You and I, Creating the Future Together!

For What?

Sometimes we just forget to live and start 'existing'. We are spiraled into the everyday activities and forget to think about why we're doing what we're doing. Here is a small poem, that asks to reflect and question...

You still have time... but for what?
You're still breathing... but for what?

You open your eyes but do you really see?
You go to sleep but are you at peace?
Days go by... but for what?

You play for fun but are you enjoying?
You compete everyday but do you have the time?
You put on a smile... but for what?

You study, graduate, but are you aware?
You earn, work-hard, but do you really care?
Filling pockets everyday... but for what?

You still have time... let's make it worthwhile
You're still breathing... let's see for what!

Toote Kaanch ke Tukde

Ek moti meri aankh se chalkar, tere dar pe aaya hai
Toote kaanch ke tukdo me, maine tujhko paya hai...

Ek aangan me khela tha humne, kyari apni pyari thi
Sadiyon ka tha saath hamara, phir chot jo usne mari thi...
Apno ne talwar uthayi, hahakaar ka aalam tha
Tu mera-main tera dushman, aur ghar ka apne maatam tha...

Chala gaya phir chhod mujhe tu, par jashn maine manaya tha
Aazadi to payi maine, par khoya apna saaya tha...
Saalo saal lade phir hum-tum, par dur na hum ho paye hain
Marhum bhi lagaye hain humne, aur ghaav bhi humne khaye hain...

Ek hi jaesi bhasha apni, soch bhi apni ek hi hai
Phir kyun ladne baethe hain hum-tum, jab niyat apni naek hi hai...
Ye hawa ka jhoka sarhad paar se, yaad jo teri laaya hai
Toote kaanch ke tukdo me, maine tujhko paya hai....!!!

The MANDI of Life

THE MANDI OF LIFE

The days very long, the nights sleepless
What to do for summers, we remain clueless
There comes a man, in the midst of this
He loves you, he gives you a "kiss"

The concepts of POM, their vast universe
You must understand the concept, not mug-up the verse
Whether you cross a valley, or build a tower
Setting a SMART Goal, is the secret power

The 3 Monks of China, come to teach you coordination
You achieve efficiency with team-building and innovation
The Navrang cube has a lot to teach
The root of the organisation, is where you must reach

The methods are different in God's Own Campus
Sometimes it's I, sometimes it's US
Treat Management as your future husband or wife
And learn to sell yourself in the MANDI of life

My Dear CELLPHONE!!

My Dear CELLPHONE!!!

The world of cellphones shrinking day by day
The feeling of togetherness left at the bay
My Samsung, my Apple, Nokia & Sony
Are more dear to me than the family's say

The playgrounds were green, my friends were fun
But now I prefer to play - "Temple Run"
And now that I have fb, twitter in my hand
I have forgot to enjoy - The Setting Sun

The headphones in my ears, say it clear & loud
"Don't talk to me. I hate the crowd!!"
The competition is no more on toys, cds or marks
But my phone is costlier, I'm so very proud

My mother now has dinner all alone
Because my new family, is my dear CELLPHONE!!!!
